This Idea Date will showcase a best practice example of “Win the World” program funded by the government of Pernambuco in Brazil, which works with high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds to learn a foreign language (English or Spanish) and participate in international exchange programs. The program has improved students’ approach to learning and has turned school into a more attractive place, reducing the dropout rates.
