Ágnes Vajda is the National Director of AFS Hungary Intercultural Programs Foundation. She has over 20 years of experience managing and overseeing a wide range of bi-national and multilateral scholarship and exchange programs and other international education projects. She has led internationalization efforts in collaboration with top-tier high schools and universities across Europe, promoting mutual understanding through international exchange.

Prior to joining AFS Hungary, she held various senior positions at the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the Fulbright Hungarian-American Commission for Educational Exchange. She is a certified teacher and holds Master’s degrees in English and Russian language and literature and in Educational Management, respectively.
