Annette Benson has been involved with ESL, human resources, diversity and inclusion, the integration of domestic and international students, and intercultural learning during her 16-year-career at Purdue University. In mid-career, she realized that all of these opportunities had drawn upon a gift that needed to be developed, causing her to return to higher education in order to earn an MS in public relations from the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University. She oversees the external and internal branding of the Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR), along with managing all aspects of the Intercultural Learning Hub (HubICL).
