Ulrike Niemann is an alumna of AFS Germany, with which she went for high school exchange to the USA in 2001-2002.
Since then, AFS has never left her, and she has been volunteering as trainer and facilitator for AFS Germany and Denmark on local and national level.
Meanwhile, Ulrike is an assistant professor for SIMAC, a Danish maritime higher education institution where (international) culture lays naturally at its core. Ulrike is a co-founder of Cresce, an international NGO that aims at providing organizations, companies and educational institutions with workshops and trainings based on experiential learning and non-formal education. She is also a facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method.
